Abstract:FMCSA’s Office of Analysis, Research, and Technology evaluated data within Agency information systems to assess whether negative compliance with certain credentials issued by States are related to a carrier’s safety performance. This analysis found that carriers with an IFTA, UCR or IRP violation were more likely to be involved in crashes, and likely to have other violation types
